Graphic Programmer / Technical Artist

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in game development and is currently looking for an experienced Graphic Programmer. Our client is a Ukrainian mobile game studio pioneering the hybrid-casual genre with a portfolio of 300M+ downloads. They build visually distinctive games that push the boundaries of what is possible on mobile and are looking for someone to help them go even further. What are you working on? Genres: Hyper-casual Platforms: PC, Mobile, iOS, Android For which tasks (responsibilities)? Developing and implementing unique graphics technologies, writing shaders (Unity/HLSL) Optimizing custom graphics algorithms for mobile devices Creating beautiful and satisfying visual effects – the “wow” effect, ASMR aesthetics Developing new technologies for rendering and animation Researching and implementing cutting-edge techniques from the computer graphics industry Working on both new projects and existing live titles What kind of professional are we looking for? Experience with shaders, rendering, and animations Ability to describe animations using mathematical functions; understanding of the physics of motion, tweens, and easings. Creative and artistic vision – a sense of style, color, and composition Understanding of the graphics pipeline and the characteristics of mobile GPUs Experience working with Unity/HLSL (Unreal/GLSL background is also acceptable) Knowledge of the Ukrainian language Desirable: Strong math skills: trigonometry, vector math, matrix operations Experience with VFX Why do we enjoy working here?
