Gen Eight Games is an independent, Indigenous-run game studio based in Tkaronto, Canada. We were founded in 2024 to develop Where Nations Gather, a powwow management and rhythm game. Thanks to recently secured funding, we are focused on building our first playable demo. This is where you come in. We are looking for passionate, dedicated people who are excited to build a game that is just as unique as they are.
We are a team that holds each other to a high standard while fostering a respectful and collaborative environment. We believe that we all benefit from the unique perspectives and skills of a diverse team, and that we become stronger developers when we can learn from one another. This is why we are looking for a Technical Artist who can fill knowledge gaps in lighting & shading, while helping to improve the visual fidelity of our project to make it look its best.
